PARCC Assessment Begins Monday April 11th!

The PARCC assessment will begin Monday, April 11th. All students in grades 3-5 will begin testing at 9:30 AM and finish between 11-11:30 AM each day. The testing window will be Monday, April 11th-Tuesday, April 19th. Please click on the link below for the daily schedule.

During the testing window, we will be hosting open gym for students that are in grades 3-5 only. Due to the number of students in all 3 grade levels, we have a schedule in place to prevent overcrowding in the gym. On Monday April 11th, open gym will be for 5th grade only. The gym will open at 8:40 AM and students must enter Door #11. Younger siblings are not allowed in the building for open gym. Students that show up on a day other than their scheduled date will be asked to remain outside. Please click on the Open Gym Schedule link below for specific information.

I would like to thank the Lincoln PTA for providing a healthy snack each day of testing for students. We are all very appreciative of your generosity.

PTA Council Scholarship Program

Thank you Lincoln PTA for your support of the Wheaton-Warrenville PTA (WWPTA) Council Scholarship Program. The scholarships are funded through donations from CUSD 200 elementary and middle school PTA units. This year, the Council, along with the four middle schools, awarded $500 scholarships to thirty high school seniors. Among this year’s honorees are Rebecca Johnson and Damon Leach, who both attended Lincoln. All thirty winners will be recognized at a breakfast hosted by WWPTA Council in late April.

Lincoln Crosswalk

We are in need of a parent crossing guard at the Dawes Crosswalk for every other Tuesday afternoon. It's easy and takes about 20 minutes of your time. This would involve "shadowing" a volunteer once at the crosswalk and then, covering 6 shifts between now and the end of the school year. Please consider helping out as the weather should be warming up soon! If interested, please contact Julie Guerin at

Office Depot/Office Max Recycle

Congratulations! We have filled our 1st toner box and the 2nd box is over half full! The ink jet cartridge box is almost ready to be sent; we need just a few more. Keep bringing in those used ink jet or laser toner printer cartridges to the collection boxes located in the main entry way. In exchange, Office Depot/Office Max will give the PTA a gift card for free supplies! Join Lincoln & the PTA in being green while earning green.
