Finance Celebration and Reminders
Congratulations to Jayne Culp on receiving a blue ribbon of achievement for her audit results! WHOOHOO!!!
But we were told to look at improving the amount of reimbursements that we do as a school as well as a reminder about teacher receipt books. Please note that reimbursements to employees should only be utilized when a vendor will not accept a purchase order or the items being purchased are considerably cheaper from a source that will not accept a purchase order; these cases should be rare in occurrence and a detailed justificance should be included in the documentation. Also, ALL teacher receipt books should be kept in a safe space. Money received should be turned into the school treasurer the same day it is received. All funds receipted in the teacher receipt book are the responsibility of the teacher until turned in to the treasurer. All money is to be receipted and turned in to the treasurer daily. No money is to be left in the classroom. No money is to be taken home with an employee. This is VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! If you ever have any, any, any questions about this, please simply ask Ms. Culp. It's better to be safe than sorry!
End of Year Commitments
Please remember that no staff member may be out of school during state testing days (last ten days of school). It is essential that everyone is present and ready to rock! If anyone is out, a doctor's note will be required. Also, please remember that we will have special end of year awards ceremonies. The 8th grade promotion ceremony will be Thursday, June 8th at 6pm. All 8th grade staff and encore teachers are required to attend. The 6th and 7th grade awards ceremonies will be on the last day of school, Friday, June 9th in the morning.
