Enjoy DOUBLE THE FUN this year with a week long silent auction and an in-person live auction celebration. Both events will support districtwide grants!

Gahanna Mayor Lauri Jadwin recently visited Jefferson Elementary to speak to third-grade students about her job and responsibilities as mayor.

Shoutout to GLHS theatre teacher Cindi Macioce for pulling off a wonderful surprise for one of her theatre classes. After a trip to the local movie theater to see West Side Story, Cindi arranged for former student Mike Faist (Riff in the new West Side Story) to stop by, meet the class and answer questions.

Mike is a proud alum of the GLHS theater program and a 2021 inductee into the GLHS Alumni Hall of Fame.

Holiday Marathon performed by the GLHS theatre classes is always a hit before winter break!

We look forward to welcoming our staff back on Monday, January 3, 2022, for a day of professional development and our students back to class on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

GJPS continues to work hard to simplify communication about COVID-19 so you can find the resources that matter most to you and your family. Our GJPS COVID-19 | 2021-22 Update Webpage contains the COVID-19 Dashboard, safety protocols and resources, and the latest email updates from GJPS.

You can access the GJPS COVID-19 | 2021-22 Update Webpage two ways:

• You can find the GJPS COVID-19 | 2021-22 Update Webpage housed under the "District Tab" in the top menu bar of the GJPS district website.

• The COVID-19 | 2021-22 Update Webpage is always linked on the GJPS district website homepage under "What's Trending.

We will continue to distribute BinaxNOW At-Home Rapid Test Kits while supplies last. These test kits can be used to detect an active COVID-19 infection.

You may request kits for:

• The number of students you have enrolled in Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools in your household
• Up to 2 parents/guardians per household
• The number of GJPS staff in your household

Kits are available for pick up after completing the Rapid Test Request Form at the GJPS Administration Building, 160 S. Hamilton Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Please ring the bell inside the front door for service.

A confirmation email from GJPS will not be sent.
