What was he like as a child?

Franklin lived a calm and humble life, he was tutored until age 9 in which he went to school, this is when the great depression started to be "apparent"

What kind of schooling did he have?

Franklin went to school for 15 years, and also got 2 PHD's. Pretty impressive i would say.

Wasn't he in a wheelchair?

YES! he was actually paralyzed from the legs down. Franklin got in an accident when he was around 13 . However he didn't let his paralyzation hold him down

During the great depression he saved us, how did his disability help him out?

It gave a HUGE morale boost. It also showed even though he was going through alot he pushed through and succeeded, this served as motivation the the U.S citizens. This presents the theme that just because you're disabled in some way, this may be to your advantage.
