We had two very successful Home and School Events this weekend!

7th and 8th Grade Dance:

On Friday the 7th and 8th graders had their first dance of the school year! The dance was held outside under a tent with a DJ! The smiles on their faces were priceless! Thank you to our Event Coordinators Carreen McCarthy and Bridget Schmitz for making this event a successful and memorable one for our students! We also would like to thank all the chaperones for their time: Cathy Berard, Eileen Falkenstien, Melissa Schafer, Jeanie Adams, Giulia Monaco, Beth Cahill, and Marie Tierney. And finally thank you to Villa Rosa and the Capuano family for opening up their restaurant to our students to gather after the dance.

1st Annual Beef and Beer:

On Saturday we held our first ever Beef and Beer! It was so great to see 94 of our St Ignatius parents gathered together for the first time since the pandemic started. It was a very fun night, the weather was perfect and it was great meeting all the new parents to SIS and showing them what a great community we have. We would like to thank our Event Coordinators, Bridget Karo and Jackie Kush and their committee for organizing this new event. We would also like to thank Terrance Wiggins for the entertainment provided and of course Father Brownholtz for coming, providing the space for us to have this event and for always supporting the HS events. Oh and for lending us the fire pit!
