Old Middle-Earth Discovered?
In Vietnam?!?!
Introduction
Argument 1
Argument 2
Argument 3
Counterclaim
I know most people would think that Britain would be the real middle-earth and I can't blame them at all. Although it is a known fact that the author J.R.R. Tolkien was inspired by England while describing middle-earth that doesn't necessarily mean that's where it actually is. But I can assure you that is not the case, the picture below is of Vietnam, not Britain and it looks exactly like the location of Bilbo Baggins' hobbit hole. The area just looks more modernized with the roads and all, but if they weren't there then it would be identical to the scenery of the hobbit hole.
