Remote Learning for our face to face students

Superintendent Bush let us know before break that we are sticking with remote learning this week and possibly next week depending on the case numbers. Thanks for your grace and flexibility. Teachers have items ready for pick up on Tuesday and Wednesday (December 1 & 2) from 8-5. Please ring the doorbell, tell us who you are picking up for, and we will bring it out to you. Thanks for coming over to get some needed items.

Book Fair pick up

This week on Tuesday and Wednesday families can pick up the books that they ordered in our recent online Follett book fair. Please ring the doorbell, identify the child you are picking up for and then we will bring to the door for you. Thanks so much for supporting our Library!

Remote Students (who started the year this way)

Those families who have chosen remote learning for this child...there will be another pick up of materials on December 2-4 from 8-4. Please stop by...ring the doorbell...tell us who your child is...and we will bring the materials out to you. Thanks!

Devices

All students brought their devices home when we dismissed on November 12. Please see the agreement inside, complete and return when we return to school in person. The charger, earbuds and log in information was also provided. Please keep these items in a safe place so they can be returned when we return to school in person.

If you are having technical difficulties...please contact us at school 558-2167 is the main office and we can try to help you. If we are not able to help, you can also contact our district help desk at 558-2900.

Meals--at Coolidge

Like we did last spring, our Food and Nutrition Dept will be providing meals to students in our district. This week we will have meals for pick up at Coolidge from 11 AM- 1 PM Monday thru Friday. The meal will be prepared for the day and breakfast will also be included for the following day. Please come through the Coolidge horseshoe and stay in your vehicle and we will bring the meals out to your vehicle. Did we mention that they are FREE!

Naming the new building

This week I will be remoting into all classrooms to do a lesson with students about naming our new building. We will be discussing naming things and how this is a big deal...and that we want their input also. I will be sharing with them a Google Form to complete if they would like to submit a name for consideration.

Classroom instruction

Your child's classroom teacher will provide for you links for your child to use to sign in for instruction. They will provide the schedule we will be using and what time various things will happen during the day. Specials teachers will be providing instruction also. If you child has other services like PACT, Special Education or ELL---these will be provided also and a link will be sent to the child and/or family to access. Please let us know if we can be of additional help. Please contact your child's teacher if you have questions.

Conferences

Thanks so much to those of you who made time to meet with your child's teacher the past couple of weeks. It certainly was a different way to do our conferences, but thanks for your grace and flexibility as we embark on lots of new learning this year. If you have not had a chance to meet with your child's teacher yet, please make every effort to meet with them. We have had 14 teachers with 100% attendance this fall so far! Thank you!!!
