Elkton Elementary School Memo
January 4, 2021
A Note from Mrs. Palmer
Dear EES Families,
Happy New Year and welcome back! I hope each of you had a restful and meaningful time with your family and friends during the winter break.
As educators, our staff are thankful for the opportunities to impact young lives. Our students are the reason we are here. We look forward to 2021 working with your child(ren).
Our vision for our students and we hope it closely matches yours, is for them to become all they can be. We want them to be successful through good, consistent attendance, perseverance, utilizing support from their teacher, and working diligently to complete their assignments. We want this because these traits will build good habits that will carry them throughout their life. We expect a great deal from them because they are so very capable of producing great results.
Here are a few reminders as we come back into the school building:
- Complete the daily home screening (short health check) before sending your child to school.

- Contact Admin. if anyone in your family has been exposed to Covid- or has any flu like symptoms.
