Santa Claus is coming to town

Song: byMichael Bubl’e

You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why

Santa Claus is coming to town

He's making a list,
He's checking it twice,
He's gonna find out who's naughty or nice
Santa Claus is coming to town

He sees you when you're sleeping
And he knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake

WIDA TESTING for ALL ELs!

The official testing window for this important test is January 12 - February 24. The WIDA ACCESS 2.0 is the annual test that all ELs are required by law to take. The purpose for this test is to make sure that all our ELs are making gains in learning English and are making progress toward exiting the program within 5 years of their start date. The test covers 4 domains: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. Embedded in the test is some grade-level. Language Arts/Reading, Math, Social Studies and Science content. Parents are notified in writing of their children's progress every year.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the necessary precautions for everyone's safety , it is difficult to schedule the students for testing. In order to be able to test all 130 of our ELs within the testing window, we will be asking students to complete all four domains in one day. You will be receiving a letter, email, and/or phone call from the EL program staff with more information.
