A Message From Mrs. Caudill
This last week of school hold a special significance, it is a time to celebrate the achievements of our young learners, honor the hard work of our teachers and staff, say so long to students who will be moving to middle school, and good luck to those staff members moving on to new adventures.
As we move into summer, I encourage each student to take a moment to reflect on their personal growth and achievement, no matter how big or small, and cherish the memories made with friends and teachers. Remember the skills taught go far beyond the classroom. Please take this summer to relax, rejuvenate, and engage in activities that bring you joy.
Have the best summer,
Devon Caudill
Oh, and one more thing parents... Tag, you're it!

Thank you PTA and Parents!
Some things can only be defined by one word - perfect. That is the only way to describe the Bobcat Bash on Friday night. This event could not have been possible without the herculean efforts of all the parents that volunteered and the PTA. Thank you to everyone who made it such a memorable experience.

Field Day was soooo much fun!
THANK YOU LEADERSHIP FIELD DAY VOLUNTEERS
Our Bobcats had a wonderful time on Thursday at this year’s Field Day. While students took the lead at each event, we could not have done it without our parent and grandparent volunteers. Thank you for your flexibility and patience. Thank you for your coaching, set-up/clean-up and encouraging support. We hope you had as much fun as our students did. From relays to races, chalk, dance parties to Capture the Flag and nearly 2000 water balloons filled, we could not have done it without you!

GiftCrowd ends Tuesday at 10:00am
Want to give your child’s teacher a super easy end of year gift and save yourself a trip to the store? Want to say a little thank you to the support staff, humanities teachers and everyone else who worked so hard at Amerman this year?
Well spread the love around with GiftCrowd. There are also zero fees! Give to as many staff members as you wish, it is simple and I hear the staff loves this program! Win/Win!!
The PTA has opened a GiftCrowd link for anyone who wants to contribute to a group gift for a staff member. The gifting will close on Tuesday 6/13 at 10:00am and then each staff member will be able to choose a gift card to redeem.

The Amerman Mural is now Complete
A year in the making, Amerman's newest artwork has been installed! Over a year ago, our young Bobcats were asked to find plastic bottle caps in all colors and sizes. Last year's 4th graders (now 5th graders!) were challenged to come up with a design for the new mural, and the results were incredible! From the submissions, we chose a small group to collaborate and create the final design. This design team planned and painted the panels for the mural. Next, during 5th grade art classes, students had the opportunity to attach the caps with glue and screws. I think using the power drills might have been some of their favorite parts of the project! We ended up using about 3,000 caps in the final project. The mural panels were installed this week near the MPR, and the end result is a 12'x8' relief mural that is a collaborative effort of all students, from finding and donating caps to the 5th graders who created it! A special shout out to our design team leaders, which includes Anthony, Noah, Leena, Addison, Sienna and Maddy.
We am thankful for a supportive Amerman community that has helped this project come together for the past year!

Solar Car Race Championship
The fourth grade solar car championship was held Monday. The top 2 teams from each 4th grade class competed on Monday. The point of the race was not speed, but efficiency rating (mass/speed). Such an amazing hands on project for our kiddos! Congratulations to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams!!
