Semi-evacuation drill today

Today, we had a brief emergency evacuation of some areas of our building as a precaution. Your children may mention it. We smelled gas and to insure the safety of our children, we evacuated the front wing and part of the middle wing until it was investigated. The fire department and the gas company both arrived immediately and investigated the situation. We discovered the source of the odor but kept the children out of the front wing for the remainder of the day to be sure that the air was clear. I am very happy with how our students quickly and cooperatively responded to instructions.

Help get our girls to the National Championship!

We have a lot of fundraising that needs to happen if we are going to get our girl's to the National Championship Tournament in Valparaiso, Indiana. Below is the link to our fundraising page. Please forward this to others and give as you are able.

We are having HOLY CROSS night at ANTHONY'S COAL-FIRED PIZZA, next Thursday, March 8th. Come and dine in or take out and mention Holy Cross and we will receive 20% of the total of your ticket. Everyone needs dinner and everyone likes pizza (they do have other items on the menu.). Please come after 5PM and support us. Tell your friends and family.

Registration is now open. It will open to the public on March 5. Space is limited in every grade level. 6th grade is full and we are taking a waiting list.

A frequent question is... do we have to register our child every year? The answer is YES. Until all the process has been completed, your child does not have a reserved space in class. Even though over 90% of our students return each year, we cannot count on that until a commitment has been made.

Another question is... what is the deadline? There is no deadline, but when the classes are full we cannot take any additional children. The early registration rate does end on May 1st and rates increase by $100.

If you have any questions about the registration process, please do not hesitate to call or email me.

Here are the steps:

1. Complete the registration on Renweb

2. Pay the registration fee

3. Sign the tuition plan

Please note. There are only 5 spaces remaining in the 6th grade class for next year.
