Masks

So a few have asked what the school's plans are now that the Governor has allowed schools to decide if students should wear masks at school. At this time KAES will continue with the same policy for wearing masks that we have had all year. This plan has worked for us quite well. Our goal from the beginning has been to focus on keeping our children face to face at school and do not want to put that in jeopardy. I want to thank you for all that you have done this year making school possible. It is all of us working together and trusting each other. We are not done yet, we still have another quarter so let's keep focused and finish strong.

Have you taken the survey? Time is running out!

This is the last day to take our KAES parent/guardian survey. It will only take a few minutes. This is your chance to tell us how we are doing. This blind survey will give us insight on what you like about KAES and what you would like to see in the future. We want to hear your voice. Just click on the link below and fill out the parent/guardian survey.

Jumping in for Jesus

This Sabbath at 3:00 pm in the Keene Church we will have what I hope is our first of many Jumping In For Jesus services. This is a time when eight of our KAES students will share their decision to live their life for God and be baptized. All are invited to join them for this joyous event. Friends and family will be welcome to come up to the front, on the platform for a much more personal experience. The pews are still out of the church so chairs will be set up to sit on but some may want to bring blankets to spread out and sit on.

Read Across America Week

Most of us call this Dr. Seuss Week. This week there has been a lot of focus on reading in all the classrooms. Doors and classrooms are decorated and we have been seeing students and teachers dressing up in remembrance of Dr. Suess all week. Today though was the high point when teachers rotated around to share favorite storybooks and crafts for elementary grades. One student told me that this is her favorite day of the year.

Middle School Community Outreach

Middle School students made a big impact in our community today. Students helped pour concrete, paint fencing, pick up trash, sort clothes, and even clean stalls. Our children are valued in our community. These kids did all this and not one time did I hear anyone complaining. It is exciting to think about the impact they will be making as they continue to grow.

We have listed the lunch menu for the entire month of March. There is a separate lunch order link available for each week of the month. All weekly links are available on the menu at kaes4kids.com and each individual week will be shared in the newsletter. It is our hope that this will provide an easier way for you to keep track of lunches purchased.

You can edit your order at any time. If you need to make a change to your order, please do it through the confirmation email you receive from your order. This will help us not to double order for your child.
