Library News
May 5th was the last day for students to check out books unless they have a school project they need to finish. Starting this week I will be sending out late notices on all books that are still checked out. That will give students aprox. 3 weeks to get the books found and turned in.
Thank you!

BHS announcement - athletics
The Batesville High School Athletic Department is hosting an athletic department “Freshman Orientation” meeting on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in the High School Cafeteria. The meeting will begin promptly at 5:45 P.M.
We encourage your attendance at this meeting as many issues will be discussed and various required paperwork completed. High school sports are governed by the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) and they often adopt new rules which may be addressed as well as BHS athletic requirements, summer requirements, the 2017-18 athletic calendar, and other sports' related topics. We will also be showing a brief video, which is a requirement prior to participation.
Though we intend to accomplish a great deal at this meeting, it is expected to last only 45 minutes. Since Fall Sports begin before the start of school, we strongly encourage each student athlete and at least one parent to attend this meeting.
Thanks you,
Bryan Helvie
