Valentine Food Drive
In addition to our food drive, we will be making Valentines for the Foodbank volunteers to show our support. In June, we will run the Coins for Kids. More to follow in June.
LAF Read-a-Thon...Coming Soon
The LAF Read-a-thon is like a jog-a-thon, except your child will be reading books instead of running laps, and earning pledges based on how much they read. Pledges can also be made for a fixed dollar amount. Everything is tracked online, which makes inviting sponsors and logging reading much easier! The LAF Read A Thon will start on March 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022. Our goal is to read more than 500,000 minutes as a school.
More information about how to log onto the system is coming soon.

Valentine's Day
In the coming weeks, you will most likely be receiving a class list from your child's teacher for Valentine's Day. Please remember that food related items are not allowed to be a part of Valentine's Day Cards. Although students are not required to send Valentine's Day Cards, please remember they must have one for each classmate.
Vision Screenings - 4th Grade
The New Jersey State School Health Program requires that vision screenings be done routinely on school-aged children. The purpose of this program is to identify students who may need further evaluation. This is merely a screening process and if your child requires further evaluation you will be notified by mail.
We will be performing this screening on all 4th grade students. Please ensure that your son/daughter has his/her glasses for school each day so they can be prepared. The vision screenings will begin on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to me via phone call or email.
