Pardon The Mess
Meadow Creek is one of the five elementary schools that is going to get fresh paint and new carpet on the inside of the school this summer! As we get closer to the end of school you will see us busy packing up everything so the movers, painters and carpet people can come in on May 27th to start their work. We might not look as decorated as we normally do when you come for award ceremonies and end of the school year events but there is still lots of learning, laughter and fun going on in every classroom as we finish out this school year.
The school office will be temporarily moved the Harwood Junior High Library during the painting and carpet repairs. You can still reach the office by phone through June 22. We will return on July 18 and if the work is finished, we will be back at Meadow Creek.
ColorCycle
Meadow Creek Parents, Teachers and Students:
Don't forget to bring used markers and highlighters of all brands to school for recycling through the ColorCycle program!
Please be sure to drop any old marker in one of the bins in the classroom or the large container in the office as you clean out your supplies at the end of the year. We are keeping THOUSANDS of dry and wet erase markers, highlighters, and regular markers out of the trash stream this way! Feel free to contact me with any questions about the program.
