News and Notes
Good afternoon, Wildcats!
The month of May is upon us, and the finish line is in sight! It’s hard to believe that time has passed as quickly as it has this year! With the school year coming to an end, it’s important to maintain the goal of finishing what we started in August and showing what we know as we conclude the 22-23 School Year. With this in mind, we appreciate the parent partnership and know you too are checking in on your child's grade as we near the end as well as encouraging your students to complete any outstanding assignments by monitoring their PowerSchool and giving them that gentle nudge that is needed at times!
This has been a year of excellence for many reasons; fine arts, athletics and most importantly academics as they have continued to shine and set RHHS apart from the rest in terms of positive progress! With amazing students, parents, and staff; this task has been conquerable! We really have a lot to be proud of!
This coming week we kick off an opportunity for our students to show just how much they’ve grown this year through EOCT’s and Advanced Placement Testing. Good sleep, good food and a good mood will certainly allow our wildcats to finish strong.
Before signing off, I couldn’t leave without a joke to get the weekend started: Did you know there use to only be 25 letters in the alphabet….No one knew Y!
Rest, relax and enjoy the weekend ahead! See ya, love ya, Bye!

Attention 10th Grade Parents/Guardians
Is your teen 16 years old or turning 16 before August 2nd 2023? If so, they will need proof of a booster to the meningococcal vaccination (MCV4) before being allowed to attend school in August.
If your teen is already 16 years old, it is strongly recommended that you contact your healthcare provider or the Bryan County Health Department before the summer rush.
This MCV4 booster is only given at the age of 16 or after. If your teen has a summer birthday, please make arrangements to ensure that they are ready to start school on August 2nd.
Meningococcal disease is a serious bacterial illness that affects the brain and causes shock, coma and death within hours of the first symptoms. Georgia law requires students be vaccinated against this disease.
Please submit a Certificate of Immunization (Georgia Department of Public Health Form 3231) to the school clinic prior to August 2nd.
