NO SCHOOL for Students This Week (Nov. 21 - Nov. 25)
This week (Nov. 21 - 25) there is no school for students, as teachers will be holding conferences with parents and families (Nov. 21 - 23). If you have not yet scheduled a conference for your student, please reach out directly to your child's teacher.
Nov. 24 - 25 - No School in recognition for Thanksgiving Break.
FREE Math Gameboards during Conference Week
Would you like some games to play at home with your child? Please stop by Room 11 during conferences this week. If you are at the Book Fair, please follow the signs to have your child create a FREE math gameboard to play together at home. There will be lots of levels and designs to choose from and game pieces will also be provided.
The Book Fair has Arrived

Books for You
Ali Wood was a former teacher and Librarian here at Discovery. As part of Ali’s legacy, she wanted to create a way to get books in the hands of kids. This project is starting with our fall book fair. A foundation has donated $5000 in Ali’s honor to ensure that each kid gets books. All kids will walk out of the book fair with a book in their hands and from Ali there will be a sticker inside to honor Ali’s wishes.
If your family would like to donate to the fund in addition to or in lieu of receiving a book, please contact Katie Davis daviskp@mukilteo.wednet.edu.

PTO and our fabulous volunteers will be providing brunch items Monday Nov 21st and Tuesday Nov 22nd. Donations can be dropped at the front office.
