Elementary School COVID-19 Discussion
The Board of Education discussed the current conditions in the District related to COVID-19. The Board reviewed information regarding positive cases within buildings and discussed mitigation and prevention strategies going forward.
The Board voted to take the following action:
To move forward with partnering with the St. Charles County Department of Public Health for contact tracing.
To require masks for all students and staff at Duello Elementary for 30 days effective immediately, beginning Friday, September 10, 2021.
To invoke masking in District buildings where the positivity rate is above 2% or greater, to be revisited at the next regularly scheduled board meeting, effective through Friday, September 17, 2021.
