Why we get involved - Tamanend Middle School

Are You Ready for #KADDay2017?

We hope to see all of our students and families, past and present, for #KADDay2017 tomorrow. It will be a day filled with hope, smiles, service and fun. If you cannot join us, please follow the KAD Spirit on Twitter using #KADDay2017.

Here are some points for parents and students:

  • There are great prize opportunities for everyone throughout the day (see Tweet of the Week below).
  • Throughout the day, there are lots of great food and drink items as well as fun things to do.
  • Basketball players should be signed in and ready to play a half hour before their initial game. Basketball games start with 7th grade boys at 9 a.m. The 7th grade girls will start at 9:50 a.m. 8th grade boys at 10:40 a.m. 8th grade girls at 11:30 a.m. 9th grade boys at 12:20 pm and 9th grade girls at 1:10 p.m. Quarterfinal round for all grades starts at 4 p.m. Semifinal and final rounds for all grades start at 4 p.m.
  • Mrs. Dolan will speak to all of us in the gymnasium between 3:30 and 4 p.m.

Because the weather forecast calls for rain, we ask that everyone do their best to dry their feet before walking through Tamanend. We do not want our basketball court to become slippery. Thank you for your help.

Volunteer Required Paperwork

Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children must obtain background checks and clearances. If you are planning on being in a Central Bucks school during the 2016-2017 school year for any reason, you will need to go to Volunteer Required Paperwork, complete what is needed to obtain your Photo Volunteer ID Card. You will need that and another piece of photo ID to enter a CB school.

Once you have the paperwork started, please click here to sign up for various volunteer opportunities available this year (use TMS as the password).

After signing up, the school needs to verify that all volunteer clearances are on file. Parents/guardians will be notified by the school if they are cleared and needed to chaperone. Thank you.
