A note from the Booster President
2022-2023 BOOSTER BOARD ELECTIONS
REMINDER - the election of our next booster board will be held at the March 10th parent meeting. All positions are open to any and all interested booster parents!
Interested in running for a position? Submit your candidate bio (a paragraph or two of who you are, which position you seek, your plans for that position, etc.) to officers@fcbands.org no later than 11:00 pm on March 1st. The slate of interested and eligible candidates will then be emailed to all booster parents on March 3rd. The board-elect will shadow the current board through the remainder of the school year, and officially take office on June 1st.
Our elected board positions are:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Engagement Coordinator
- Events Coordinator
- Fundraising Coordinator
We want YOU to seriously consider becoming more involved with our booster activities! All elected positions are open to all active booster parents who are interested. If you have questions about any position, please reach out to the current board member - we are happy to help answer those questions.
(NOTE: the positions of Concert Band Liaison, Marching Band Liaison, Guard Liaison, and Percussion Liaison are appointed by the directors, not elected by the booster parents. We encourage those who are interested in those positions to reach out to the current liaisons and/or directors for more information!)

Disney Trip 2022
Rehearsals:
Wednesdays March 9 & 16 from 7-9pm (Philharmonic students will come from 8-9pm)
IMPORTANT: Our pre-trip meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 16th at 8pm.

PERCUSSION SYMPHONY

IPA Greenfield Central Invitational
Our Indoor Percussion Symphony performed at Greenfield-Central High School on Saturday and improved their score to 78.050. We look forward to watching their score increase at the Indy Regional this weekend here at FC!

Practice Schedule
This Week:
Tuesday, 3/1: Practice 6-9 p.m. Come to practice early (5-5:30) and get your picture taken for button photos!
Thursday, 3/3: Practice 6-9 p.m.
Friday, 3/4: Practice 5-8 p.m. Help set-up for competition.
Saturday, 3/5: WGI Indy Regional Percussion Prelims: Show time is at 5:54 p.m at FC! A more detailed itinerary will be shared soon.
Sunday, 3/6: WGI Indy Regional Percussion Finals
Dinner will be in the volunteer lounge both days, so please be sure to sign up to donate!

Practice Schedule
The practice schedule for this week can be found on the band calendar. Students must attend every practice.
