What's Up Willowbrook
August 19, 2022
Welcome to the new What's Up Willowbrook!
What's Up Willowbrook has a new look for the 2022-23 school year. New features include the ability to translate into dozens of languages, to adjust font size and contrast for accessibility (just use the tool bar at top), and it offers responsive design. You will still be getting the same great information that you have come to expect. We look forward to a great school year!
Happy new year, Wildcats!
We kicked off our school year with an opening ceremony that included the school song, National Anthem and Pledge, jokes, introductions ... and a Glow Stick party. This was our first flag raising in over two years. It was an emotional moment for the staff.
This year's school theme is "Shine Your Light." We invite everyone to share what makes them special and unique. I challenge the students to brighten the lives of others. If we care about others' happiness, we will find ours too. Let's commit to kindness, compliments, optimism, and gratitude.

Make Sure Your Health Forms Are Up-To-Date
Kindergarteners and students new to Willowbrook are required to provide the school with an Illinois health exam form with an immunization record and a physical, which was completed within one year prior to the first day of school. Kindergarteners and new students will also need to hand in a completed eye exam and dental form. The forms may be found at District 30 Health Forms. If your child will be participating in a Willowbrook sports club, it is required that your student have a health exam that was completed within one year prior to the last day of the club on file in the health office.
Second graders will need to turn in a dental form this school year by May 2023. If your student will be keeping allergy or asthma medication in the health office, a current health care plan from your physician is required.
Before any medication can be dispensed, the school must receive written instructions and a signed permission form from the student’s physician and parent. All medications must be properly labeled and kept in the Health Office. Parental permission must also be obtained for non-prescription medication. Please contact the Health Office at 847-400-8860 or lmullen@district30.org if you have questions.
