This type of propaganda is called Glittering Generality, which means to use such a vague language that it appeals to the notions of honor, glory, love of the country, peace, freedom, and values. This is intended for the young and easily influenced.
This expresses how the people embrace the love of their country by joining.
Name Calling
This is hanging a bad label on an idea. This picture is trying to show that the enemy is out to destroy lady liberty, also known as the U.S., so that the people will be brave and enlist. Intended for those who are bold and strong.
This is to encourage the people to fight to save their country.
Band Wagon
This is to persuade the audience to follow the crowd. It expresses support and the desire to be on the winning side. Intended for the competitive drive to win.
This is to express that anyone can join the army.
Card Stocking
This is when you make the best case possible for his side and the worst for the opposing viewpoint by carefully using facts that support his/her side of the argument to convince the audience into accepting the facts as a conclusion. Intended for those who dislike the enemy or foreign countries.
This shows how the people were so protective that they would try anything to get the people to protect it's country.
