Principal's Post
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We began test prep this week to ensure our students are prepared for the State Assessments in May. A few examples include: top ten test tips, reviewing the Text Dependent Analysis rubric, and class discussions using released test questions. While this has been a tough year academically due to Covid, overall our students are resilient and we know they have the ability to be successful on SC Ready/SC PASS. Feel free to review test blueprints or assessment information on the State website:
https://ed.sc.gov/tests/assessment-information/quick-links-for-teachers/test-blueprints/
Students should have received a progress report this week, so please take time this weekend to discuss grades, goals for the remainder of the year, and the testing schedule. May is filled with concerts, performances, and testing. Staying informed will help keep our students’ stress levels down, please email/call with ANY questions. We are a team!
Next week is Teacher Appreciation so join me in thanking our amazing educators! Thank you to PTO for your help!
Have a great weekend!
Reminder: tutoring will resume starting Wednesday, April 27th. Please complete the NEW link below if your child plans to attend.
