Ms. Sims (Ms. Tucker will be testing some students for NWEA.) will lead a workshop using the Parenting with Love and Logic Curriculum. The curriculum provides powerful tools to help our children learn to make good choices and experience happy lives while maintaining their love and respect. This week our topic will Setting Limits Without Waging War. The meetings will be held during next week (Week of January 18th) during the first hour of your student’s Learning Center time. M. Gwin, 5th grade
M. Gwin is a new student at CVCS and has done a great job adapting to his new environment. He has made many new friends and his warm smile always brings positive energy to our learning center days. M. Gwin has truly grown as a learner because he is taking more risks in class by participating more and working above and beyond the expectations that are expected. M. Gwin has learned to adjust his behavior and work based on the feedback from his teachers, learning coach and peers. We are all excited to see where M. Gwin's potential takes him in the second semester. Keep up the great work, M. Gwin
