A Word from Your Friendly Neighborhood Principal. . .
Parents,
We are winding down yet another exciting school year! These children continue to amazing me with their diligence and effort. It was also exciting to send off multiple grade levels on field trips outside of school! Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped to chaperone the trips. Speaking of volunteers, we currently have over 100 middle/high school volunteers and 90+ parent volunteers for field day (Thursday, June 1st)! FIELD DAY VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP GENIUS It is going to be a great day! As a way to say THANK YOU we will be providing lunch for the adults and snacks for all of the middle/high schoolers. We are asking the student volunteers to please bring a lunch due to the large numbers. New volunteers should print, complete, and bring the LCPS Volunteer/Mentor Application with them.
A special shout-out to our Running Bears. Good luck tomorrow in the Hometown Festival 5K run! Another shout-out to our 4/5th grade Chorus who will be singing the Armed Forces Medley in the town square as part of the Memorial Day Service! We are very proud of all of these boys and girls and I'm sorry that I will miss all of the festivities this year.
Have a safe and happy Memorial Day! All of us here at RHES are so incredibly grateful for the sacrifice of those who gave all for our great nation!
Sincerely,
Andrew Davis - Principal

The 19th Annual Round Hill Hometown Festival
The 19th Annual Round Hill Hometown Festival is right around the corner and the Festival committee members are hard at work planning a full day of FREE FAMILY FRIENDLY FUN right in the heart of Round Hill! All your favorite events are back -- the 5k, parade, pie-eating contest, downhill derby, stage entertainment and children's activities -- plus we've added a cornhole tournament in the Town Park!
But we need YOUR help to make May 27 the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill! Volunteers are needed through the day to help set up the park, man the information booth and run all the fun events! Please consider spending an hour or two of your day helping make the day go smoothly. Sign up for a spot (or two!) at
