"As a mother, I have quickly learned that no amount of schooling or professional experience can prepare you for the journey of parenting. I was lucky, as a professional I knew colleagues that I could ask their opinion or get a referral from when my son began to struggle. However, it was not until I found C.I.T.Y of Support that I felt that I had found a place where I could be a parent who needed support processing and navigating having a toddler in therapies. The resources have also allowed me to expand my network of providers to help find the perfect fit for my son.
My company, Marissa Bennett Consulting (MBC) is part of the C.I.T.Y community because I want all our parents to know that there is a support network for them, regardless of diagnosis and to feel the sense of community I feel. At MBC, my talented compassionate staff works every day to provide individualized ABA therapy to our clients and support for their parents. To complete the work we do, in home and in our clinic, it is vitally important to provide a resource like C.I.T.Y for our parents. I fully believe in C.I.T.Y of Support's mission and feel very lucky that I get to enjoy the work they do both personally and professionally."
