Navigation acts
The Navigation act was to restrict colonial trade it was in 1764 in Britain. And the British made were the ones. It was placed on sugar.
The Proclomation of 1763
It was in 1763 and it was after the French and Indain War. King George the III issued the Proclomation. To avoid more conflict and tensions remained high.
The Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was in 1765. The stamp act was a tax on all kinds of paper. It was to raise funds to protest the colonies. It was Samuel Adams. It was in Britain and then it got repealed.
Quartering Act
It was in the 1765 and it was the response of the stamp act. It was the British. The British sent troops over.
Townshend Acts
It was in 1767 and the British put taxes on tea glass paper and other items. Daughters of Liberty made their own clothes instead of buying British cloth. The Sons of Liberty kept using violence against them.
Boston massacre
It was on March 5,1770 and only 5 people were killed. Samuel Adams responded with propaganda. John Adams started the biggest contribution to his country after the Boston Massacre.
Tea act & Boston tea party
It was in 1773. It was when people put a tax on tea and they made a monopoly. The colonists were unhappy because they were forced to put a tax on the British. The Sons of Liberty reacted by dumping 342 crates of British Tea into the Boston harbor.
Coercive Act (Intolorable act)
It was in 1774. They called it the intolerable act. They did not allow town meetings,gave Britain control of the colonies, it stopped which greatly impacted the colonies.
Causes of the American Revolution
The American Revolution was when the 13 colonies rejected British. Social causes were destributes in money and government. British economic polices that led to the revolution were the triangular trade. I think the colonists were justified in declaring independence from England.
