Hour of Code
December 5-11, 2016 AND BEYOND!
What is Hour of Code?
Hour of Code was started in 2013 as a way to give students a taste of computer science even if it was not officially offered in schools. The website https://code.org/ offers hour-long tutorials for all grade levels and experience levels. Students can create a Flappy bird game, Star Wars adventure, Minecraft world, and more! And they are self driven with a step-by-step tutorial that they could then come back to and enjoy later. The best part? You don't need to have coding experience to give your students a chance to try it for themselves!
I would love to host your class in the library or your classroom during the week of December 5th or after! Please contact me and let's give your students a great experience they can take with them!
