Culture, Traditions, and Celebrations Night - April 25, 2019
Our theme for this inaugural event is: "Celebrating Diversity and Finding Common Ground!"
Organized and Hosted by
Mrs. Werner’s 3rd Grade Class
Our class became interested in learning about other cultures and differences during our Second Steps lessons. We are working with Mr. Foreman and Eagle teachers to help plan Cultural Awareness Night that will take place on April 25 from 6-7 PM. Students will get a chance to research a culture or difference by themselves, with friends, or with their family. They can then share their thinking by presenting at a table at Cultural Awareness Night. If you are interested, use the link above to sign up. All grades may participate in this activity. This is an optional project. We hope to see you there!

Important-Updated Immunization Requirements for 2019-2020
The Indiana State Department of Health school immunization requirements for 2019-2020 have been updated. Click here to view these new requirements as they have recently changed. Students who do not have the Hepatitis A series may need to get the first dose as soon as possible as there is a minimum interval of six calendar months between the first and second doses. Religious and medical objections to the immunization requirements must be updated and signed each school year. Please feel free to send updated immunization records to the health clinic as you receive them. Contact the school nurse or your physician’s office with any questions.
So far, Eagle Elementary School has reached 37 Energy Kits and has saved 7,400 kWh of energy.
- 3rd and 4th grade students saw a live performance about energy conservation sponsored by Duke Energy a couple of weeks ago.
- We are working to reach our goal of requesting 100 Energy Kits. We’ve got the rest of the school year to meet the My Energy Kit Challenge and save 20,000 kWh of energy and earn $250 for our school.
- Families can request their FREE Energy Kit and credit our school by going online to MyEnergyKit.org or by calling our hotline at 1-855-386-9548.
