Meet Gardner Dickinson's New School Social Worker, Mary Bond!

Mary Bond joined the Gardener Dickinson community in October. She came from Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Central Schools where she was a social worker in the elementary schools, and previously in the middle school. Her favorite thing about Gardener Dickinson so far is the school's commitment to providing an environment that focuses on academic growth while supporting the social and emotional needs of its students. Outside of work, Mary enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, and visiting family. The words that best describe Mary are friendly, patient and honest. Mrs. Bond looks forward to developing great relationships with students at Gardener Dickinson to be able to support their academic, social, and emotional goals.

School Counselor Mrs. Amy Murphy is a Key Member of The Royal Moments Social-Emotional Learning Committee

Amy is the School Counselor at Gardner Dickinson. Before working at Wynantskill UFSD, Mrs. Murphy worked as a high school guidance counselor. Her degree is from the University of Albany. Her favorite thing about Gardner Dickinson is watching children grow from Kindergarten all the way to 8th grade. Outside of school, Amy likes to spend time with her family, her dog and her grandson. She teaches lessons each week in various classrooms throughout the school that focus on Social-Emotional Learning using the Second-Step Program.
