Instructional Strategies with Google Apps for Education
You are invited to participate in this series of workshops to help you implement research-based instructional strategies through the integration of Google Apps for Education.
- This is a hybrid class, which means that learning will occur through a combination of online and in-class activities.
- There are 5 face-to-face sessions on Mondays, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Delisle Staff Development Center: February 29, March 14, April 4, April 18, May 2 (attendance at all sessions is required).
- Bring your laptop to all class sessions.
- You have the option to participate for college credit (with $175 fee paid to Ashland University for 1 semester hour) OR to receive payment (for a maximum of 5 hours) at the voluntary and compensated PD rate.
- Please note that enrollment is limited to the first 25 participants.

Book Study: Tech Out Your Class
- Participants read 1 chapter a week and post online in a Google Classroom.
- There are only 2 face-to-face sessions: February 22 (orientation) and May 9 (final project presentations), from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Delisle Staff Development Center.
- This book walks you through 6 technology-rich, customizable projects aligned to Common Core and ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) Standards.
- As a final project, you will implement at least 1 project with your students.
- You have the option to participate for college credit (with $175 fee paid to Ashland University for 1 semester hour) OR to receive payment (for a maximum of 5 hours) at the voluntary and compensated PD rate.
