HEB Texas Loves Teachers Tours
Congratulations Escondido Elementary and Miller's Point Elementary for being honored in the H-E-B Texas Loves Teachers Tour! Teachers and faculty were celebrated at their campus for their dedication and commitment to education.

This year, they went the extra mile for schools & districts with the H-E-B Texas Loves Teachers Tour as part of our 20th-anniversary celebration!

Full Service Kitchens Open Up at Two Elementaries
You may have thought that since every school campus has a cafeteria, it also has a kitchen to cook the food. Well, not necessarily. For many years JISD’s Central Kitchen has prepared meals for campuses like Park Village and Miller’s Point Elementary Schools and then transported them by truck each school day. Today marked the beginning of the end for most of that. These schools opened up their cooking kitchens today. Several campuses like Park Village and Miller’s Point are in the midst of kitchen construction to do the same thing. This will turn them into production kitchens, meaning food is cooked and prepared on campus and served to students there.
Today these kitchens were cooking up a storm preparing and serving hot meals for the very first time. Park Village is serving its meals in the classrooms for now, while Miller’s Point was using its spaced-out cafeteria to chow down. Fried chicken was on the menu on Monday. It was a real treat for kids and the cafeteria staff to see their faces as they enjoyed a new lunch experience.
Judson ISD Reads Together

JISD reads together goes through May 20th. To find out how to access books, lesson ideas, and much more, visit their webpage.
School of Choice
In our School of Choice website's menu, you will see a list of campuses grouped by elementary, middle, and high schools. Each campus listed will have a link to their campus website, a brochure explaining some of the unique features and offerings of that school, and a virtual video tour of the campus to give you a visual sense of the school. Again, thank you for choosing Judson ISD. If you have questions about a school or program, please feel free to contact the campus of interest, and they will be able to help you.
