Weather
Our BIG Question: How do seasons affect the weather?
Morning Message
Dear Wise Walkers,
Good morning! I hope you’ve had a chance to go outside and observe some amazing signs of the season! Even on rainy days, there is life growing all around us! Have you seen it? Have you smelled it? Have you heard it, tasted it? Let’s wake up your five senses this morning and take on the day...together!
Science and English-Language Arts (ELA)
We are learning about weather all week! If you missed the Science videos and ELA directions on Monday, click on the button below to watch them. They are important and you should check them out at least once this week!
It's time to read for 20 minutes. You can read books on Myon (through classlink), on Epic, or books you have at your house.
Then it's time to write for 20 minutes, maybe on google slides or maybe on your own paper. Our theme this week is POETRY, but you can also write about weather, seasons, or anything!
If you are typing your work, remember to use the same slideshow you started on Monday. You should go to classlink or google to find it. If you have not started your slideshow yet, click on the button below.
Then, it's time to practice your reading fluency. Remember to read smoothly and with expression.
IT'S BRAIN BREAK TIME!!!
Math - Student Activity Page 419
Practice your math by viewing Student Activity Page 419. Write your work on paper you have at home.
Then watch the video Mrs. Norvell made to help you check your work.
Math - Fact Cards
Make homemade Fact Cards for facts with 3 in them.
Then, practice your 3's and 4's facts using the fact cards you made yesterday and today.
Practicing helps you know your facts in a snap and be an even more efficient mathematician!
