Apex Fun Run....Is Here!

The Apex Fun Run is an interactive leadership program that helps schools all over the country to raise money, while promoting leadership, good character, and fitness. This year's theme is UNITED! Students will join the Apex Squad on an exciting journey as they learn what it truly means to unite as a team. For more information, click here.


Our Fun Run will be Thursday, October 26. If you plan to join us for this fun and exciting fun run, please avoid delays in gaining entrance to the school. Be sure to RSVP.


This year our donation collections will all be done online to make the collection process easier and faster. Of course, sponsors can still pay by cash/check if they choose, we just ask that these donations be turned into the school any time before the Fun Run, so that students receive credit. If paying by cash or check, please turn in the payments by Thursday morning, October 26.


The APEX run is this Thursday! The weather looks amazing! Please come out to cheer your little runner on, it's a fun event full of smiles!! We also need more helpers to mark laps and pass out water.

October 27 - 50's Day and Cupcake Friday!!!!

Students are invited to celebrate the 50th day of school by wearing their favorite 50's-style clothing. How fun is that?!


The 27th is also Cupcake Friday. We celebrate all October birthdays with cupcakes and healthy snacks. If you'd like to bring cupcakes and/or healthy snacks, check in with your classroom's cupcake coordinator. Cupcakes and snacks should be dropped off at the Front Desk before noon. If the cupcakes/snacks are homemade, please be sure to attach a list of ingredients to the containers.

Everyone is invited to dress up as their favorite storybook characters and wear their costumes to our special student assembly in the gym at 7:30 am on October 31st. We will not be having our normal Friday assembly , so please join us instead on this Tuesday. Students will be sharing their books with their class along with their costumes.


Please, no masks, weapons, blood, gore, clowns, or anything scary. We want everyone to feel safe and to have fun.

WCHE is hosting our Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon for students and their families November 16 in our Cafeteria. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to come celebrate the season and enjoy a delicious turkey feast!!
