Principal's Message
Hello Seco Families,
Please check below for next week's bell schedule. Periods 1, 2, and 3 meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Periods 4, 5, and 6 meet on Tuesday and Thursday next week.
Our next PAC meeting will be on Monday, February 1, at 4 pm (not on January 25 as originally scheduled). Our special guest will be Mr. Vince Ferry, Principal of Saugus High School. He will be sharing information about Saugus as our 8th graders prepare for the transition to high school. Mr. Ferry will also be available for Q & A. We will send out the Zoom link prior to the meeting.
Honors Society information and applications for both 7th and 8th graders are now available online. Applications are due on Tuesday, February 9th, by 3 pm. Please read through the information letter for all the details. Here is the link. https://www.arroyosecojuniorhigh.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=316215&type=d&pREC_ID=723185
All student cohorts are suspended until February 8 at the earliest. We still look forward to creating opportunities for small groups of students to physically be on campus, once we have been cleared to do so. Please know that safety for everyone is our main concern.
Thank you for all of your support and have a great weekend!
Motivation and Academic Push (MAP)
On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, we have MAP (Motivation and Academic Push) time from 1:15 to 3:00. Students can connect with their teachers for assistance by appointment or through open zooms/meets. Teachers will also invite students who may be missing work or need assistance. For these invited students, attendance to MAP sessions is mandatory.
