A Few of My Favorite Things
My Family
Nothing brings me greater joy than spending time with my family. We love any opportunity we get to host cook outs, cook family meals together, and travel with our extended family. Many of my family members love to run. So often you will find multiple generations of us running a race together.
Running
I love, love, love to run! My passion for it wanes a little in the summer due to the heat… but I love the freedom of just throwing on my running shoes and going out for a run. When I travel, I bring my running shoes. I have actually run from one state to another, mainly because I have run across the George Washington Bridge that connects NJ to NY.
Destin, Florida
I love the soothing sound of the ocean, the smell of sea spray, the fine sugary sand under my feet, the warm sun shining down on my skin, all while being wrapped up in a great book. This is my happy place.

- No visitors will be allowed during lunch the first week of school for grades 2-5 and the first two weeks of school for Kindergarten and 1st grade.
We appreciate your cooperation!
Wanted: Volunteers
For returning volunteers, please remember that the background check form must be submitted each year.
Click below to access the new FISD volunteer clearance and tracking program. You will need to set up an account to access the background check form.
Just a reminder: Whenever you stop by to visit whether it is to volunteer, eat lunch with your child, or to simply drop off something with the nurse, you must bring and show your driver's license. Each year your license will be scanned to register you in our system. This is a district-wide protocol to ensure our students safety.
