FVE NEWS
February 2023
DEAR FRONTIER VALLEY FAMILIES,
February is always a nice month to reflect on what we have accomplished and what we are grateful for. I continue to be amazed by the wonderful support that our teachers and staff give to our students everyday. The positive climate that we have in our building begins with the daily interactions that the adults have with our kids. We truly appreciate the partnership with our families, and we are very grateful for the wonderful community of support we have at FVE.
There are many special events planned in the coming months at Frontier Valley. We have two Battle of the Books teams that will be representing our school in the library battles soon. The kids involved will get to compete against other DCSD school teams at the Parker library this month. A special thank you goes out to Jessi Gaal, and Jaime Jenkins for organizing the Frontier Valley Battle of the Books this year. We also appreciate all of the parent and staff volunteers that have made this program a success! In addition, our school will be partnering with Legend High School's Wish Week from February 3rd - 10th. There will be many opportunities for our school community to show support, including fun spirit days that we have planned. It is also our pleasure to announce our Spelling Bee representatives for FVE this year. A huge congratulations goes out to Eliza and Claire in 5th grade for being selected as our Spelling Bee finalist and runner-up! We are positive that our school will be represented well at the District Bee. We are so proud of both of you!
Cheerfully,
Kiersten
