Congratulations!!

We are so proud of our EJA students!! They worked so hard and did an amazing job telling the greatest story of all--Jesus coming as a baby to save the world! Parents, thank you for your help in making this year's Christmas Musical a blessing to all who attended! We were blown away by your support. Thank you for making sure the students arrived on time, memorized all their parts, knew the songs, and were dressed and ready to go! Thank you for coming and spreading the word, what a great turnout!

It's Almost Time to Re-Enroll

Attention School Families! Just after you return from the Christmas holidays, we will be unveiling our latest easy to use strategy for re-enrolling your student at school for next school year. It may be a little different than in previous years. Please stay tuned to the communications you will be receiving to take advantage of early re-enrollment!

Uniform Reminders

We are so happy to see our students dressed neatly in their uniforms each day. If you are still having trouble ordering or finding anything, please let us know. We will begin enforcing our uniform fines starting in January for students who are not in the proper dress code. Thank you for your help with this!

STEM Fair Projects

The STEM Fair is fast approaching! Students need to give their data collection tool, variables, materials, and procedures to their teacher by January 9. They may write it down on the packet that was provided. Please work with your child to ensure they are ready to turn this in. See the due dates below. Please continue to encourage the students to work on this project a little bit each week so they can be ready for the fair on February 2.

All students in 3rd-8th grades are required to complete a STEM Fair Project. 1st-2nd graders will do a group project in class. Teachers will guide students and set due dates, but the students are expected to complete the majority of this project at home. Please see the parents guide and the STEM fair journal packet below for more information.

Students who win our local fair will move on to compete in the AEC finals on March 26th.

Money Monday with Wells Fargo

We had fun and learned a lot with our friends from Wells Fargo! Older students divided into groups and were given a challenge of planning a birthday party with only a $100 budget. Younger students learned about the value of money. Students had fun and learned some important financial literacy concepts!

Covid Updates

Covid testing will NOT be required after Christmas Break. If anything changes, we will let you know. We do ask, however, that you monitor your children for symptoms, especially if you have traveled to another state and/or used mass transit. It’s a good idea to do a Covid Test just to be safe before returning to school. We sent each student home with 2 home test kits on Thursday. You do not need to make a virtual appointment or scan the QR code on the box, unless you want to make an appointment with a health provider. Just follow the directions that are included. If you need more kits, just let us know.

Coding Club

We are so proud of our EJA coders! They have come so far in such a short time, and completed all of their challenges and even created their own. A big thank you to Mrs. Carguill our coding teacher for volunteering her time so that students could have this experience.

Students completed their last coding session on Thursday, but we will have a small awards ceremony after break to celebrate their accomplishments. Congrats!!

Tuition Payments

A friendly reminder that tuition is due on the 15th of every month. For those who are signed up for FACTS, you may continue to pay online. If you have not signed up for FACTS yet, you may continue paying on CashApp for now ($Ejapay). Students will be asked to stay home if you have missed multiple payments, so please keep your account current to avoid any late fees or suspension. You should have received an updated statement from Mr. Paul. If you didn’t see it or have any questions, you may contact Mr. Paul, our business manager (treasurer@ephesusjracademy.org). Thank you!
