Islamic Awareness Week Continues

May 5th and May 6th

Thursday, May 5th - "Islam vs. The Media" featuring C.A.I.R Representative Varisha Khan

  • Time: 6 pm to 8 pm
  • Location: ARC 2nd Floor
Come hear from Washington's Council on American Islamic Relations representatives, including Varisha Khan where representatives will open a conversation on the issues of Islamophobia, how media plays a role in creating this image and their experiences. All are welcomed!!!

Friday, May 6th - Jummah Prayer

  • Time: 3 pm to 5 pm (Prayer at 3:30)
  • Location: CC3- 103
Come pray Jummah on campus where we will be having a Kutbah (speech/sermon) and prayer afterwards. ALL ARE WELCOMED!
