From the Director
We had a GREAT band camp and are ready to get the school year off to a fantastic start! Thanks to those band parents that are HSE employees that helped check students in and chaperone the past two weeks! Thanks to the staff for helping to keep students following procedures and protocols to keep everyone safe and thanks to the students for not complaining ONE BIT about those safety measures!!!
We know that things are hectic for families with school starting, so we only have one rehearsal for each section this week:
- Monday - Color Guard 6-9pm
- Tuesday - Winds 3-5pm and Percussion 6-9pm
Next week, we start our regular season rehearsal schedule.

RCG Shout-Outs in the Fall Sports Program!
Shouts Outs available for the Fall Sports Program! The Shout Outs can be purchased online by parents, grandparents, or anyone who wants to recognize our HSE Royal Command and Guard Members.
The deadline for Shout-Outs is Wednesday, Aug. 5th .

Marching Band Payment Due
The 2nd RCG fee payment of $125 was due July 31, 2020. Please make sure your student’s account is paid up-to-date. All parents/guardians should be receiving statements from My Music Office (MMO). MMO is the billing/tracking system used to bill and to keep track of payments. If you are not receiving emails from MMO, please email me at studentaccounts@hsehsbands.com.
Two ways payments can be made:
• Credit/Debit Card via the HSE Band’s website: Payment Link.
• Checks made payable to Royal Guardians mailed to: P.O. Box 7180, Fishers, IN 46038

Revised Marching Band Schedule
Running the following calendar information again:
Pending administrative approval, here is the revised calendar for the RCG season. We will be moving to a weekly rehearsal schedule of one sectional and one full band rehearsal. Our season will “end” at the last football game performance, if we end up having football games. We are still continuing to investigate performance opportunities, so we’ll add those on as they are determined!

SAVE THE DATE
September 12 we will be hosting our Mattress Fundraiser in the HSE Band Room from 10am-5pm. This is a great fundraiser because it requires very little work - No volunteers needed! The only thing we need you to do is advertise! Share with friends, familiy, and businesses. For every person that purchases a mattress and mentions your band member's name, you will receive a $25 credit towards fees. The more mattresses sold, the more funds the band program can earn!
Dine 2 Donate is Back!
Thank you, Jenny Kraus for serving another year as our Dine 2 Donate Coordinator. We appreciate all the time and effort you put into organizing these dining fundraiser events that really do add up!
