A message from Father Woolley

This past Tuesday, I had just mailed back to the diocese a form they sent me, stating that I intended to renew Jae Smith's contract as Principal next year, when a few hours later, she told me the news that she was retiring at the end of this school year. I'm very sad to see her go, but I'm grateful for her over 20 years of service to Fr. John V. Doyle School, and especially for being able to work with such a great principal and woman of faith my first year at the parish and school. We've worked very well together, and with God's help, we've made a lot of progress moving the school forward. So, may the Lord grant you a blessed retirement, Jae, thanks for everything, our prayers are with you! God bless, Fr. Woolley

Thank you!

I would like to thank everyone for your kind words and emails upon hearing the news of my retirement at the end of this school year. I am so grateful for all of your well wishes and expressions of support!

Father Woolley will be working with the Catholic School Office to hire a new principal for Father John V. Doyle School. I have confidence that together, they will find the perfect person to fill this role! Please pray for their success as they begin the process!
