The Importance of Regulation
(for Student AND Adults)
Are you a thermometer or a thermostat in your classroom?
Regulation starts with us--the adults. When we are regulating, we are more likely to be under control, calm, reasonable and teaching-ready. We can then create a safe environment for students and assist them in identifying tools and tricks that can help them achieve a learning-ready state.
