- Oct. 4 - final day for BOF donations to earn jeans days

- Thanks for all the hard work on MAP! Can't wait to see the data!
- BISD Training Center- Beginning of Year Compliance and Law: This required training has been added to the training center. Please take a few minutes to view the powerpoint and check the acknowledgement.
- U.I.L.is Coming! U.I.L. is Coming!!! BISD hosts an annual elementary U.I.L. competition and Norwood will be participating this year. Sheila Duncan will be our campus rep, so look for information from her coming soon. We can use as many coaches as we have people willing to coach!!
- Wednesday Staff Meeting for all certified staff at 3:30 in the library. We will be talking about MAP testing, parent reports and Take Care Thursdays.
- Want to earn Jeans Days??? Donate to Burleson Opportunity Fund and receive 6 jeans stickers just for donating! Will you do your part, no matter the amount, to help Norwood reach 100% participation? You can donate by cash, check or the easiest way is through payroll deduction on this Google Form.
- Essay Contest Information for Teachers: This is for teachers in grades 3-5. Deadline for turning in is October 2. Give to Angie and we will get to Administration by district deadline. Please let Christy know if you are participating. We want Norwood to be represented well!
2nd-5th classes: The Burleson Parks and Recreation Department is wanting feedback from students. Will you please take a few minutes early next week and let your students complete this survey? www.burlesontx.com/youthparksurvey

CORRECTION FROM LAST WEEK: We received information that the district will be emailing MAP family reports so you do not have to print! Please make sure to get yourself familiar with the information. Parents might call with questions.
