PTO News
First PTO Meeting
Our first PTO meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 18th at 7pm. It will be located in the STEAM Center along with snacks and childcare. The PTO has a lot of great events planned for this school year. All parents of Hilton students are members of the PTO. Please join us to offer your support, ideas, and most important, to make this an amazing year for our students.
*New Online Directory*
We have a new online directory. To join our directory, please visit https://www.myschoolanywhere.com/join.a5w to input your child’s information and privacy settings. Hilton’s invitation code is “hiltonexplores”. This site will also be used to send PTO updates, accept donations and hold emergency contact information. You can also download the MySchoolAnywhere app to your smartphone to receive updated information on the go.
Hound Dog Run
Every student will be participating 2nd annual Hound Dog Run held on September 28th from 2 to 3:15pm. All students will receive a Hound Dog T shirt and a refreshing snack as the run/walk with their classmates. Each student is encouraged to collect at least $30 during our one-time-only fundraising event. Packets will be sent home in your children(s) friday folders which will explain donations and T-shirt ordering. Parents and siblings are welcome to attend. The PTO is also looking for volunteers for this event. Please visit MySchoolAnywhere to sign up https://www.myschoolanywhere.com/login.a5w.
Sponsorship
Hilton is still looking for Sponsors for the 2018/2019 school year. Sponsorship prices range from $25 to $500 with the benefit of promoting your business in a number for different ways. For donations and sponsorships you can email hiltonpto@gmail.com or donate online at paypal.me/hiltonpto. Also, a big THANK YOU for all the sponsors to already donated for this school year. We are off to a great start.
Popcorn Fridays
New this year-popcorn friday will be held ONLY on the last friday of the month. For just $0.25 your child(ren) can enjoy a small bag of popcorn popped by Hilton’s parents. To sign up for these fun events, just visit https://www.myschoolanywhere.com/join.a5w
Box Tops
Please start and continue collecting Box Tops throughout the year. In the past, money raised through this program and financed the field trip transportation as well as granted up to $100 to each classroom for much needed supplies. Throughout the year, contest will be held to see which classrooms collect the most box tops.
Kroger Shoppers
Hilton is now enrolled in the Kroger Rewards Program. Please support the school by linking us to your Kroger Rewards Card. Our number is 68151 or you can just type our school name in the search window at https://www.kroger.com/communityrewards
Amazon Smile
How fun would it be to shop, while at the same time, earning money for our school? Amazon Smile (https://smile.amazon.com) is through Amazon.com, in which they donate money for most items purchased through their website. The fun part is that the website keeps a running total on your account to see how much money you donate to the school just by shopping with them. Check out this 30 second video to see how you can add a shortcut to your (mobile) home screen to ensure all your Amazon purchases benefit Hilton Elementary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWgglu7ZCDE.
