Sixer's Sunday School
Weekly Update for Parents, October 27, 2019
Sunday was great...seeing so many of our Sixers leading in worship through song and scripture reading!
We have an amazing bunch of students and we are honored to teach them!

Today's Lesson: Hezekiah and Josiah
We did not have a super long time to cover our lesson this morning, due to all the involvement our class members had in worship! We still managed to cover the story of Judah's Kings!
We would be curious if our Sixers could remember who the Bible calls the "most evil" king of Judah or if they remember how old good King Josiah was when he came to the throne?!
In addition to a shortage of time, we also had a lesson that wasn't very exciting...it was long list of kings with names that are hard to pronounce! To encourage engagement and listening, we played "Bible Story Bingo" so that we were all listening for keys words from the passage.
We concluded with God's promise to us in 2 Chronicles 7:14!
NOW WHAT’S NEXT: Next Sunday: Fall back for Daylight Saving Time! And join your Sixer after church for lunch and preparation for Project: 3 Kings after worship. We’ll wrap up lunch and initial painting by 1:00 pm. Watch your email this week for an opportunity to sign up!
