Portrait of a Graduate
Last week at our PTO meeting, Attleboro's Portrait of a Graduate
was shared as an initial conversation. Below is the summary of what was discussed:
It is the goal of Attleboro Public Schools to produce graduates who are lifelong learners who are responsible and involved citizens. In addition to a focus on academics, Attleboro students will demonstrate a variety of skills to be ready for college and career. Below is a description of the four pillars of APS Portrait of a Graduate. They are INNOVATE, COMMUNICATE, COLLABORATE, BALANCE.
Please keep in mind the upcoming MCAS dates for grades 3 and 4. We ask that you make ALL efforts to have your students in school on time on these dates. This means avoiding scheduling appointments, trips, etc. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out.
