Principal's Message
"There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about."-Margaret J. Wheatley
Dear Hogg Community,
I am thrilled to share with you the great news that we have successfully completed the second week of the school year at Hogg New Tech Center. It has been a fantastic start, and I wanted to take a moment to update you on some of the highlights and accomplishments.
Our dedicated team of educators and staff members has been working tirelessly to ensure that our students have a positive and enriching learning experience. The enthusiasm and energy they bring to the classroom are truly commendable. Our teachers have been engaging students in interactive lessons, promoting critical thinking, and fostering a love for learning.
I am pleased to inform you that our students have settled into their routines with eagerness and adaptability. The hallways are filled with a sense of curiosity and collaboration, and I've had the pleasure of witnessing some remarkable moments of teamwork and creativity.

Main office doors will open at 7:30 am. Classes start at 8:00 am. Tardies will be issued starting at 8:10 am. Carline staff assistances ends at 8:00 am.
Dismissal will begin at 3:15 for Pre K walkers and 3:20 for all car riders and K-5th walkers. Late pick up begins at 3:35 pm.
I wanted to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your patience and understanding as we transitioned to our new dismissal system. I also want to offer my apologies for any inconvenience caused by not providing sufficient information about this upgrade beforehand.
We have implemented a new system called iDismiss, which is an application designed to streamline our dismissal process. This digital solution employs a numbered system that allows our staff members to efficiently log students' dismissal times and locations. One significant benefit is that it has significantly reduced the need to call out students' names over the PA system.
During the first week of school, we understand that some of you experienced longer waiting times during dismissal, and for that, we sincerely apologize. Transitioning to a new system naturally comes with some adjustments. However, I'm pleased to share that we have made significant progress. In the second week, we were able to clear dismissal by 3:35 pm, demonstrating the effectiveness of the new system.
Your patience and support have been invaluable as we fine-tuned this new process. We believe that iDismiss will enhance the safety and efficiency of our dismissal procedures, ultimately benefiting our students and staff alike.
