Earn College Credits with Dual Enrollment at MBIT
Calling all MBIT Juniors and Seniors! MBIT students have the opportunity to take a college class while enrolled at MBIT and earn 3 credits from Bucks County Community College. Eligible Juniors and Seniors can take an Introduction to Entrepreneurship with instructor Mr. Steve Guinan. The class is online and starts on February 6, 2023. MBIT Recognizes Executive Council Board Member
Middle Bucks Institute of Technology's Administrative Director, Dr. Mark Covelle recognizes MBIT Executive Council Board member Kristin Marcell for her dedication and service on the MBIT Board.
Marcell’s contributions have been invaluable and have helped to shape the direction of MBIT. Thank you for your valuable time and expertise!

Dr. Covelle met with John Foody the Director of Finance and Operations at Double H Plastics in Warminster. Making industry connections is important as they can provide valuable mentorship and guidance to our students. They also open job opportunities. Career and technical education (CTE) programs offer hands-on learning and the opportunity to network with professionals in your chosen industry.
Middle Bucks Toy Drive
The Middle Bucks student chapter of the Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA) made up of Building Trades, Plumbing & Heating, Carpentry, and Electrical programs collected over 60 toys for the local Boys & Girls Clubs by hosting a holiday toy drive! Kids helping kids! Well, Done!
Gingerbread competition fundraiser
SkillsUSA our student government held a gingerbread competition between programs! Wow! Amazing job everyone! The “Holiday Treat Fundraiser” raised $1249 for the SkillsUSA State Initiative: Caitlin’s Smiles. Students raised money by purchasing a Yum Yum Donut, Hot Chocolate, and candy cane with proceeds going to the cause.
Caitlin’s Smile Mission: Powered by a passionate group of volunteers, Caitlin’s Smiles encourages children with serious health challenges to explore their uniquely creative talents by taking part in arts and crafts activities. While creating feelings of self-worth and instilling confidence in these children, the efforts ultimately put smiles on the faces of everyone involved.
Cosmetology Salon Extreme Fundraiser!
What a great turnout! Our student-operated enterprise, Salon Extreme, had a fundraiser in honor of a former student who passed away. Thanks to everyone’s help, they were able to raise $1000 to donate to NAMI. Thank you to all who came to the salon for a service, bought products, or donated to the Cosmetology fundraiser.
HOSA students create ornaments and holiday cards!
Our HOSA (Future Health Professional) students created ornaments and wrote holiday cards for residents of Neshaminy Manor and Meals on Wheels in Doylestown.
Future Health Professional-HOSA is the national technical student organization whose mission is to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA's goal is to encourage all health occupations instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership. This organization provides students opportunities to develop leadership responsibilities, professional competencies, citizenship responsibilities, personal growth and health career awareness.
Work-Based Education
These industry connections are so important for our students! Work-Based Education connects classroom learning with work-based experience and teams’ employers, educators, community leaders, students, and parents.

Buck's and Montgomery County Cooperative Education Association with the head chef , Evan Gentile of Earl’s New American restaurant. Evan is a 2007 MBIT graduate from Culinary Arts & Science program. Evan has also mentored multiple cooperative education students.

Dental Occupations
The 100 level Dental Occupation students learn about head and neck anatomy. This includes the bones, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels that make up the head and neck. By thoroughly learning about the head and neck anatomy, they can provide the best possible care for their patients.
Automotive and Collision Repair Programs
The Automotive and Collision Repair programs collaboration is a partnership between two programs that work together to provide students with comprehensive training in both fields. By collaborating, the programs are able to offer a well-rounded education that covers both the technical and creative aspects of automotive work. Students in the collaboration program are able to gain hands-on experience in both areas, giving them a unique skill set that is highly sought after in the industry. The collaboration also allows for the sharing of resources and expertise, resulting in a more efficient and effective educational experience for students.
Plumbing & Heating Technology
Congratulations to our hardworking plumbing students on earning their industry certification in Corrugated Stainless-Steel Tubing (CSST) by Gastite! We are so proud of all the hard work and dedication they put into their studies. This is a huge accomplishment, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for them.. Keep up the great work!
American Culinary Federation (ACF) Dinner
A group of talented students from the Culinary Arts & Science program attended the annual American Culinary Federation (ACF) dinner, ready to showcase their skills. The students began by demonstrating the art of cookie decorating, expertly piping colorful frosting onto delicate sugar cookies in a variety of intricate designs. They even had the guests involved.
Spring Adult Education
Interested in learning a new skill, increasing existing skills or having a fun and educational night out?
Middle Bucks Institute of Technology is offering evening courses for adults beginning in February.
Gain career skills with a course in medical insurance billing, dental assisting and oral radiology, or IT fundamentals. Get ahead with home improvement projects with landscape design, carpentry, plumbing, or small engine repair. Have fun and improve skills with professional cooking for the home chef, woodworking, digital animation, or video editing. Adults can also enroll in auto body repair, PA safety inspection, emissions inspection, electrical, eyelash extensions, and welding classes.
Students can master a new subject with online courses. MBIT offers two different online learning options: advanced career training or fundamentals courses. Advanced career training can assist in preparing an individual for a new career or a recognized industry certification. These courses offer a flexible way to learn with open enrollments. Each course also comes with a dedicated student advisor.
The fundamentals courses will assist with learning specific personal and/or professional skills. MBIT offer two options to learn the fundamentals courses: instructor-led courses or self-guided courses. In the instructor-led courses, they study over a six-week schedule and courses start monthly. For the independent learner, the self-paced courses provide access to all lessons immediately.
