Beginning September 21st, Fulton County Schools is moving to Phase III, where we will have one full day of instruction per week.

Phase III- Important Reminders
In effort to keep our students and staff healthy and safe, we want to share a few reminders:
- Students will be expected to wear a face covering/mask while at school. Staff are also required to wear face coverings.
- If your child is sick, please keep them at home and make sure they are fever free for at least 24 hours before return.
- If anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 and you have been advised to isolate or quarantine, please adhere to the public health guidance and do not send your student to school until after the noted timeframe.
- Encourage your student to wash hands frequently.
- If your child becomes sick while at school, you will be expected to be pick-up your child immediately.
- Please alert school administration of any COVID-19 related concerns.
Fulton County Schools has developed protocols and procedures to respond to COVID-19 related cases and concerns. The district will continue to work in collaboration with our local and state public health officials and follow the appropriate guidance.

Meet our newest Panther Teachers
Ms. Deyanca Henson, Pre-K
Hello, I am Deyanca Henson and I'm proud to be an Asa Hilliard Panther!
I have been in education for fourteen years. I have experience in Prekindergarten (Pre-K) , Special Needs PreKindergarten (SNPK), Moderate Intellectual Disability (MOID), and Severe & Profound.
I attended Grand Canyon University with an Ed.S in Curriculum & Instruction and M.Ed in Special Education. I attended “The Best” HBCU- Mississippi Valley State University with a BS in History Education.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and dancing.
I believe in education and every child has the ability to learn!
Ms. Dru Wilson, Kindergarten Teacher
Hello, I am Dru Wilson!
I am from Lithonia, GA and I have two siblings. I am the middle child.
My hobbies include cooking, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and SHOPPING! I love to shop and Target, TJ Maxx, and Amazon are my weaknesses.
I earned a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of West Georgia.

Ms. Tyler Maczko, 3rd grade Teacher
Some of my favorite things are laying in my backyard hammock reading a book, hiking and being outside, and going to the lake with my family and boyfriend.

Ms. Kelsey Anderson, 5th grade Teacher
Hello, my name is Kelsey Anderson!
I am a first year teacher and recent graduate from Georgia Southern University. My hometown is Cochran, Georgia.
In my leisure time, I enjoy volunteering with my sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. , shopping, and practicing various self care activities. Some of my favorite snacks include popcorn and gummy bears. My favorite drinks are flavored lemonades and various coffee drinks. I enjoy trying out new restaurants.
I’m excited for my first year of teaching and to be a part of the Panther team!

Fun Fact: Did you know we have four Aeroponic Tower Gardens in our school?!
