School Site Council
Want to be involved but cannot commit too much of your time? Want to be aware of and get involved in how money is spent on programs and materials at Ayers? Join our Site Council! We meet at the end of the month every other month for approximately an hour and will do so virtually.
Please email me if you are interested. thomasms@mdusd.org
Thank you so much!
Food and Nutrition Services
These funds also provide additional funds to the school as a whole. These funds support Ayers in many ways. Currently we use these funds to pay the salary of an instructional assistant for the 4th and 5th grades as well as purchase technology for student use.
The Food and Nutrition Services department has videos to support you in the application process. In the past this form had to be filled out on paper but there is now an online version of this form and you can access it HERE!
We really appreciate everyone taking a few minutes to fill out an application, even if you have never applied in the past. Thank you!

Boon Supply Orders
Zoom and Google Meets
Please be sure when your students are signing into their Zoom or Google Meets they are signing on with their first and last name. Students should not be participating on a phone. If you need to borrow a Chromebook, please contact our office.
The daily live interaction time is a great time for your students to be engaged with their teacher and for you to be there if they need support, but also let them be engaged as they would be in school.
Scholastic Book Fair
Hey Ayers Bears! Who's ready for some new books? Here is a sneak peek of some books our VIRTUAL Book Fair will have available to ship directly to your home.
Vaping and Teens: What parents need to know
You're Invited! Vape Pens and Teens: What Our Community Needs to Know
This webinar will provide an overview of the latest tobacco products used by young people. Adult and youth presenters will discuss the history of electronic smoking devices (vape pens), as well as the current products on the market. We will cover how they work, how the tobacco industry targets young people, health effects, and what we are still learning about these popular and dangerous devices.
